Armored Cable Slitting Tool

The Cleerline Armored Cable Slitting Tool allows quick preparation of armored cables, including aluminum interlocking armor (AIA) and direct burial armor (armored corrugated steel).

The slitting tool cuts both the outer jacket and internal armoring in a single operation, thereby exposing the internal cables and conductors. It's an essential tool for both fiber optic and non-fiber optic armored cables and assemblies.

The slitting tool is compatible with armored cables from 0.315 to 1.125 inches (8 to 28.6mm) in diameter, and a built-in rotatable blade pivots up to 90 degrees allowing both longitudinal ("slit") and circumferential ("ring") slitting.
