SSF Tri-Hole Fiber Optic Stripper for SSF™ Polymer Removal

This stripping tool is not intended for use when installing mechanical splices, such as Cleerline SSF™ connectors, on SSF™ fiber. SSF™ polymer coating must remain in place for non-fusion splicing applications.

The Cleerline Tri-Hole Fiber Strippers are an essential tool for the preparation of Cleerline SSF™ fiber for fusion splicing.

Unlike the basic Cleerline SSF-TRIHOLE Strippers that are used for cable jacket removal and general mechanical connector termination, these advanced Tri-Hole Strippers specifically remove the patented SSF polymer coating that's integral to SSF fiber. Successful fusion splicing requires the removal of the SSF polymer, and failure to do so will compromise the splice.

Enter the Cleerline SSF-TRIHOLEP.... Three built-in grooves quickly and easily remove outer cable jackets up to 3.0mm, inner strand buffers from 250µm to 900µm, and the inner SSF polymer at the 125µm level.

The Cleerline Tri-Hole Fiber Strippers are compatible with all Cleerline SSF cables, including multimode and single-mode constructions.
